This episode is the latest from NascarFansView.com and JustAFansView.com and is a production of PodCastNorm dot Com with host Rusty Norman. It gives Rusty’s opinion of the race this weekend at The Michigan International Speedway on Sunday afternoon August 27, 2016. The track at Michigan is another of the NASCAR tracks on the circuit and it is a two mile track with lots room and high speeds. Because it is a fast track and a particular challenge for the drivers, it does make for interesting and intense racing at times. Like any other NASCAR Cup race, there are a lot of drivers to choose from to pick as a winner. This particular one is another special one because it is Tony Stewart’s last one, he is retiring at the end of this year. Jeff Gordon won’t be sitting in the driver’s seat for the recovering Dale Earnhardt Jr. As is always the case, consistent lap times, getting in and out of the pits with no problems or penalties and a strategy that maintains good track position throughout the day will once again result in sitting in Victory Lane. A track like this one at Michigan seems to make for some great racing right down to the Checkered Flag if for no other reason than anything can happen and it will likely be a fuel mileage race. As a general rule, it is a race where there is always the chance of a Big surprise and a lot of drama right down to the drop of the checkered flag. These article/podcasts are usually once weekly podcasts and sometimes twice when events warrant it during the NASCAR season (which generally runs from February through the middle of November.)
