Episode #1627 – Champions Racing For The 2016 Championship from a NASCAR Fan’s View

This episode is the latest from NascarFansView.com and JustAFansView.com and is a production of PodCastNorm dot Com with host Rusty Norman. It gives Rusty’s opinion of the Last race in the 2016 Sprint Cup Series this weekend at Homestead Sunday afternoon November 19, 2016. This being the Last race of the year, a Champion will be crowned when this one is over. There are four vying for the Championship and it is a winner take all format. In other words, the Cup Champ will be the one that beats the other three. They don’t have to win they just have to beat the other three still contending for the Cup. Jimmie Johnson, Kyle Bush, Carl Edwards and Joey Logano have secured their spots in this final race. There is no tomorrow for any of the four contending to win the Cup Championship. This will be an intense and exciting race and you can bet the emotions will be high, and like any other NASCAR Cup Chase race, there is a lot riding on this one as any of the 40 starting this one can win but only one of the four still contending for the Sprint Cup Championship will be the champ for 2016. This particular race is another special one because it is also Tony Stewart’s last race.

imageAs has always been the case so far, consistent lap times, getting in and out of the pits with no problems or penalties and a strategy that maintains good track position throughout the day will once again result in one of the forty drivers sitting in Victory Lane and one Sprint Cup Champion. Homestead is a fast, one and one half mile oval which will be filled with great racing and just about anything can happen. As a general rule, this is a race where there is always the chance of high emotions as four will be competing for being the 2016 Sprint Cup Champ.
