It gives Rusty’s pre-race opinion of the latest race in the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series. This is the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway. This is a two and a half mile Super Speedway and has always proven to be a test for the Drivers and teams since it is a restrictor plate race. As has been the case so far this season the addition of the stages and the lower down force package, this promises to be another great one. There are always plenty of surprises from beginning to end and there will be plenty of intensity, too. If things go as usual there will likely be some interesting moments with lots of action and at least one possible “BIG ONE” although not something the drivers and teams hope for. It could be another fuel mileage race which could surely make for some emotional frustration at the end. The restarts should be very interesting. By the time it is over there will be surprises since it is a Restrictor Plate Race and it IS Daytona. One of the surprises will be the one that endures to the end and wins because they did everything right…
